Birdwatching on the Northumberland Coast
Every year thousands of birds make their way to the Northumberland Coast either to breed, to over-winter or just stop to feed and rest during their migrations. You should join them, as there are over 50 miles of the Northumberland Coast just waiting to be explored. This guidebook should help you discover many, many secret places.
It is intended that this guidebook be used in conjunction with relevant Ordnance Survey maps and within each section description the appropriate O/S map number is given. Along with suggestions for walking routes, other transport possibilities and some facilities there are also insider trips on birdfinding and visit strategies for those special places.
