This book describes ten circular walks that offer local people and visitors the opportunity to explore and enjoy that beautiful, but often forgotten, part of North Northumberland that lies sandwiched between the Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland Coast. The routes vary in length from about 4 to 6 miles and most can be completed, with relative ease, in about half a day or less, even by relatively inexperienced walkers. All of the walks follow tracks and paths that take you through some of Northumberland's most unspoilt landscapes which have a fascinating and unique history and heritage as well as a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity.
